1. GNC Ultra Nourish-Hair
Alright so first, you must all know that taking Vitamins is really good, to me in fact it is essential because the vitamins are vital to your hair to help keep it strong and healthy. As you see above, I take GNC Ultra Nourish-Hair vitamins.
How I use it: I take one caplet after breakfast and one before going to sleep at night. *I don't take it everyday, I try to take it 3-4 times a week but I sometimes forget*
Why I use it:
- I use it because I've seen changes in my hair; it's a lot stronger, shiner, healthier and even thicker.
- Contains Vitamin A,C,E,B-1,B-6,B-12, Folic Acid, Zinc (as Zinc Oxide) and many more elements that benefit your hair and skin(scalp).
- Zinc Oxide: We need it for normal growth and health and if you have hair loss, Zinc helps prevent it.Zinc Oxide is a form of Zinc molecule that is second only to iron.
Where to purchase it: GNC
2. KÉRASTASE Bain Cristal Thick Shampoo
I used to use Pantene Shampoos and Conditioners for a really long time and they have worked and were always amazing to me but, after I found Kerastase there has been no turning back. This one is for long thick hair. The good thing about Kerastase and you will see what I mean when you visit their website, they have different colored bottles for people with different hair types and different needs. If you're not sure which one is for you, you can look up any salon that has and specializes in Kerastase producs and ask them over the phone or do a consultation and they will show and tell you exactly what you need after looking at your hair and how healthy or damaged it is.
How I use it: I pour two drops on my hand and scrub my head thoroughly, I then wash it off and repeat that again and after I wash it off I will either use conditioner or a hair masque (both from Kerastase). I will explain later which ones.
Why I use it: I use it because it keeps my hair feeling healthy, silky, smooth and VERY SHINY !
Where to purchase: http://www.kerastase-usa.com/Cleanse-Shampoo/cleanse-shampoo,default,sc.html. Some beauty supply stores also carry it and so do some pharmacy stores.
Price: Ranges to $39 a bottle for a 250 ML to some shampoos even costing $39-100 depending on which shampoo it is and how big it is.
I know it's expensive for a shampoo but when it gives you what you want then it is worth it, and for my hair nothing is expensive enough because it is the only thing about ourselves that we can control more than any other feature. If our nose is too big or we want bigger lips, that costs far too much money to fix and leaves too much after pain from what I have hurt. Hair to me is EVERYTHING ! If you have big sexy hair or straight thick hair and it looks healthy then you can look Beautiful !
3.KÉRASTASE Lait Vital Conditioner
I use Lait Vital Condition from Kerastase everytime I wash my hair.
How I use it: Use very little because too much conditioner is not good. If you do not wash it off properly and you blow dry your hair with conditioner left it will make the spot where you forgot conditioner look fried and feel VERY dry and it will get oily the next day so make sure to WASH and SCRUB properly.
Why I use it: Because it protects the hair from drying out, quenches it, provides optimal nutrition for hair fiber and restores moisture and shine to your hair.
Where to purchase: http://www.kerastase-usa.com
Price: $41 for 200 ML & $19 for 75ML
4. KÉRASTASE MASQUE NUTRI- THERMIQUE
This is the hair masque(mask) that I use from Kerastase and I absolutely LOVE IT !
It is a heat activated hair masque for dry and treated hair. It is amazing and you can see the difference instantly after you use this.
How I use it: I use it once or twice a week. 90% of the time I use once a week. (It's more than enough)
Why I use it: Because I've tried out 13 others, none of which satisfied me or did what they were initially supposed to do. Nutri-Thermique has done wonders for me and continues to be amazing to my hair.
Price: $61 for 200 ML
5. Onion Juice for Hair Growth & Rapid Growth
As we all know sulfur is sometimes referred to as the beauty mineral due to it's ability to increase growth in hair, nails and skin. Onion is great in hair growth because it is rich in sulfur. It also stimulates health to the hair follicle. I was told to use Onion juice by a woman I met on the plane in 2009. I was traveling to Europe and next to me sat this beautiful, impeccable, breath taking woman who told me she was 38 years old, but she looked like she was 24 I would say. She had BEAUTIFUL, LONG, THICK and shiny black hair. I had never seen anything like it. Sure enough we started talking and one thing she did tell me is that she puts Onion Juice on her hair three times a week ! She was also a hair stylist back home in her country (I don't know where back home for her was. She did look like she was from Lebanon because she kind of resembled Haifa ! )
I know you may find it hard to believe but Onion Juice makes my scalp feel amazing and makes my hair grow faster. There are many medical terms and reasons and things that onion juice carries that benefits your scalp and hair, but I won't get into it because It will make this blog longer and boring and because I am not a Dr. or anything of that sort, but I do know what it contains and how it works. IT DOES WONDERS & each and every single girl that I've met with LONG, THICK hair has told me about their onion juice routine and three girls have told me they take fresh onions and scrub their hair with it. It all depends on what works for you. It sounds disgusting and like a smelly job but you will be pleased with the outcome.
Price: Ranges $13-40 Depending on where you get it from online. I got two from a friend and have not had to purchase yet, but when I do I will let you know where I order it from.
6. Moroccanoil Hair Treatment
When I'm not using my Kerastase hair masque, I am using this ! I love Moroccan oil. I used to love Virgin Coconut oil but that made my hair look like a lions den. It made it look way too thick, even after blow dried. It looked like I had a wig on so I stopped using it. If you are interested in using it though it can be purchased at Tropical Traditions and you can read more about it there: http://www.tropicaltraditions.com/virgin_coconut_oil_for_hair_treatment.htm.
How I use it: Back to my favorite Moroccan oil, it's great because after I take a shower I pour a small amount on my hands and run it through my damp hair, I make sure to put more on my ends and then I blow dry and it makes the hair look and feel spectacular. It speeds up the blow drying process and makes it feel 10x smoother than it would have without using moroccan oil and you'll understand why I use it once you try it.
Price:$15-48 Depending on the size you get. You can buy them at a beauty supply store or online at http://www.rickysnyc.com/argan-moroccan-oil.
Theres one more thing I use, but I am not posting in until I use it at least 3 to 6 more times. I want to see the full effect and how good it is. So far I am very satisfied but I need to keep using it. I will post the last product up in a few weeks. * I know most of the products are pricey but they work & they are well worth every penny !! I would never recommend anything that does not work. I aim to find only the best for myself and when I see other girls with great things I always ask "Where is that from" or what not and they ALWAY respond so I want to be able to give my feedback and my response for once. I hope this helped and if you have questions please email me at: RGLMUA@gmail.com
